Boats & Gear for Sale or Wanted

1978 Tayana 37 TROLLSTIGEN is for sale (by her second owner). Teak decks in cockpit only. Wood mast, rebuilt in approx. 1999, with upgraded electrical (oversize wiring, individual grounds, disconnects), lights (tri-color masthead, deck lights, all-around), and mainsail track/sliders (aluminum track with teflon sliders). Volvo MD17C (raw-water cooled) completely rebuilt in approx. 1998 (has less than 100 hours since that rebuild). Bowsprit rebuilt in approx. 2002, including upgraded and redundant oversize nav lights. Interior is all original teak. Propane stove/oven. Ice box. etc etc too much to list. Ok, what she NEEDS: a whole bunch of hard work and attention. This boat is located in Juneau, Alaska and has suffered a fair bit of wear and tear just from sitting in this weather for over 10 years. THIS IS A PROJECT BOAT, for sure. But for someone with the skills, time, and inclination, Trollstigen could once again be a wonderfully sound boat. Recent survey puts her price at $30,000, but all offers are welcome.
